2014

On June 23, 2014, TransportingWheels B.V. comes to life. Founder Wilbert Wester registers the company with the Chamber of Commerce, but the real starting point is earlier, in an attic in Vollenhove. A simple question—can he arrange car transport?—leads to a pivotal realization: this market is full of opportunities!

2015

A year of firsts. Our customer portal goes live, and on January 16, 2015, we complete our very first transport. That moment? Unforgettable.

2018

IJsselborgh steps in as an investor, giving us the space to thrive. While we’re steadily moving forward, IJsselborgh enables us to shift into a higher gear. A new office in IJsselmuiden marks a farewell to Vollenhove. That location remains a cherished memory, but IJsselmuiden is where the real work begins.

2019

A year of growth and progress. For the first time, we welcome permanent team members to help build our mission. A milestone that lays the foundation for where we stand today.

2022

Thinking bigger and acting on it. Our sales team takes shape, and from March onwards, we set our sights on the German market. In September, our Dutch sales team expands as well. Marketing gains momentum, as do purchasing and the commercial team. The result? An impressive leap from 30417 to 64673 transports in just one year! We close 2022 with a proud and ambitious team of 15 colleagues.

2023

IJsselmuiden becomes too cramped. Literally. With 30 colleagues, we make the move on November 6 to a spacious new office at Hanzelaan in Zwolle—a place that feels like home and offers room for our growth ambitions.

2024

Another doubling! We welcome our new CEO and now work with 60 colleagues across the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Our continued growth shows one thing: we stay ambitious, and you can feel it in everything we do.

2025

New name, same trusted mission. TransportingWheels is now TransConnect! We've traded the old identity for a fresh, modern look that fits perfectly. What remains unchanged? Our dedicated team, our service, and our relentless drive to make car transport simpler.
