Last week, more than six hundred industry leaders from across the world of finished vehicle logistics gathered in RAI Amsterdam for the annual ECG Conference 2025, hosted by ECG – The Association of European Vehicle Logistics. The two-day event is one of the key moments in our automotive logistics calendar: a meeting point for carriers, manufacturers and logistics partners shaping the future of vehicle transport in a changing world driven by innovation and changing technology.
For us at TransConnect, headquartered in the Netherlands, this year’s edition held special meaning. As platinum sponsor of the ECG Conference 2025, we were proud not only to support an inspiring programme, but also to highlight our role as a dedicated, forward-thinking and trusted platform in European vehicle transport — built on innovation and inspired by the Netherlands changing technology landscape.
Innovation as the Foundation for Progress
The ECG Conference 2025 brought together members, logistics specialists, OEMs and transport partners from across Europe. In every discussion, panel, presentation and networking moment, one theme stood out: how we can move smarter, cleaner and with greater efficiency through innovation, collaboration and changing technology — driving progress in a changing world.
Leading automotive organisations including Škoda, Renault, NATO, Volkswagen and AUTO1 shared their insights on the future of finished vehicle logistics — where data, digitalisation and teamwork are the driving forces. Delivering vehicles efficiently to their final destination remains a shared challenge across the industry — one that calls for transparency, collaboration, technology and trust.
Our innovative transport platform fits seamlessly within this conversation. Many attending professionals showed strong interest in how TransConnect helps streamline vehicle logistic operations, drive efficiency and enable smarter car transport across Europe. For us, every exchange was an opportunity to listen, learn and explore how collaboration and shared insights can strengthen our service and our industry as a community.
When Innovation Meets Education: The Launch of the ECG Academy 2025
Another highlight of the week was the launch of the ECG Academy 2025 — an intensive programme designed to support young professionals and managers in the vehicle logistics sector.
This year, TransConnect is proud to take part ourselves.
The kick-off week in Amsterdam focused on the fundamentals of innovation management and introduced the first steps toward building a virtual innovation lab.
For us, joining the Academy aligns perfectly with our core values: investing in people, sharing knowledge, and building a future where innovation and care go hand in hand.
More Than a Conference
From forward-looking sessions on the future of European Vehicle Logistics to the gala dinner where industry peers connected and new relationships were formed — the ECG Conference 2025 once again proved to be an inspiring and valuable event.
We look back with pride on a week that was insightful, human and full of energy.
Thanks to ECG, our partners and everyone we met in Amsterdam. Together, we continue to work towards one shared goal: making vehicle transport across Europe smarter, more sustainable and more efficient.
Until next year — when we’ll meet again to grow, learn and innovate together.
