The combination of networking, education, and services discovery ensures that Fleet Europe Days will continue to be a must-attend event for fleet and mobility professionals seeking to stay ahead in a rapidly changing industry.
1) Efficiency leads: automation from workflow to auction
One of the most discussed themes was the automation of the remarketing chain—from fleet workflow to sales platform. A joint session with Alphabet and BCA Europe demonstrated how integration with multi-country auction platforms leads to faster turnaround times and fewer manual actions, turning digital solutions into real-world operational action that drives efficiency.
For fleet owners and remarketing partners, this reduces “time-to-cash” while improving traceability and compliance. For TransConnect, it confirms our strategic decision to standardize order and status exchange through API-driven integration. At the event, Geotab announced a partnership with Alphabet International to power its new ‘Alphabet Connected Fleet’ solution, showcasing industry action and innovation.
“You could feel how strongly the technological acceleration is taking hold. We talked to various remarketing platforms and long-standing partners about new integrations. The barrier to sharing data is falling, while the willingness to connect processes is rising.” ~ Jochen Witty, Country Manager Germany
2) AI: from hype to hygiene in remarketing
During the remarketing sessions, Artificial Intelligence was no longer discussed as an experiment, but as an essential productivity driver—used for smarter supply-demand matching, condition grading, and dynamic pricing.
The organizers explicitly emphasized “the impact of AI” as one of the core topics, alongside EV remarketing and digital cross-border sales. The conclusion: companies optimizing their remarketing operations can already use AI today to route vehicle batches more intelligently, enrich photos and descriptions, and prioritize sales channels per market. The event also featured a range of innovative products, with companies like TMC showcasing new technologies that highlighted the power of data analysis.
3) EV remarketing demands European scale and data transparency
The residual value dynamics of electric vehicles remain a major talking point. Sessions and hallway conversations highlighted that European scale and transparent vehicle data are crucial to move EVs efficiently and profitably through the value chain—from end-of-lease to the final buyer.
Digital and cross-border remarketing channels were repeatedly cited as key growth drivers, widening reach and helping to balance price differences between markets. For logistics, that translates into flexible, cross-border transport capacity and real-time visibility of available volumes. Tracking operational costs and efficiency per mile is increasingly important, as data analysis of miles driven helps optimize fleet performance, improve safety, sustainability, and cost control.
Ford Pro’s deployment of Ford Liive improved uptime from 80% to 96% by connecting vehicle data directly with Liive Centres and Ford Workshops.
“What stood out to me was how naturally the international character of our industry was discussed. Customers and new contacts are looking for partners who deliver the same quality across multiple countries. With our European subsidiaries, we can keep that promise—one brand, one way of working, across borders.” ~ Aurélien Rouxel, Country Manager France
4) One central meeting space accelerates partnerships
New this year: the Fleet Europe Village and Remarketing Village were combined into a single open space accessible throughout both days. It may sound like a logistical choice, but the effect was strategic—suppliers, fleet owners, and remarketing specialists literally moved through each other’s ecosystems.
The awards ceremony and key networking sessions took place in the main hall, which served as a central gathering point for industry recognition and collaboration.
For TransConnect, that meant discussions about remarketing could seamlessly evolve into transport solutions (and vice versa), including price/capacity agreements and IT integrations.
“Two very full days, but above all, highly valuable discussions with Belgian customers and industry peers. The focus was on what’s already working—smarter workflows and faster, more transparent delivery. You could really feel the shared drive to take the next step together.” ~ Sam Vander Veken, Key Account Manager Belgium
5) A growing and increasingly professional community
Fleet Europe Days has become the European hub for fleet and remarketing, attracting decision-makers from more than 35 countries. The mix of education (via IFMI and the Global Fleet Managers Club), the remarketing program, and the awards ceremony reflects a mature, forward-looking sector—one committed to learning, benchmarking, and excellence. The Fleet Europe Days is a 2-day event offering ample networking opportunities.
For TransConnect customers, that’s good news: a larger and more professional community brings greater transparency, higher standards, and more reliable services. Many industry leaders plan to return to Fleet Europe Days each year, underscoring their ongoing commitment to the event.
What this means for TransConnect customers

Smarter vehicle allocation via data- and AI-assisted planning: better matching between loading capacity, delivery locations, and auction data.
Cross-border remarketing: our pan-European coverage aligns perfectly with the trend toward international resale. We can switch quickly between countries and hubs, making our platform more relevant than ever.
Safe fleet operations: we prioritize keeping fleet operations safe by aligning with the latest safety standards and integrating advanced technologies to ensure secure and trustworthy mobility solutions.
Leasys partnership: Leasys, a joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, offers a wide range of mobility solutions from medium and long-term rentals to comprehensive management systems for company fleets.

CarPay-Diem integration: CarPay-Diem showcased real integration between fueling, charging, payments, and telematics, demonstrating seamless connectivity for fleet operations.
Growing share of leasing: leasing structures are expanding, with almost 50% of passenger vehicles and 25% of light commercial vehicles now in leasing rather than outright ownership, reflecting a significant share of the fleet market.
Electrification outlook: the electrification of light-vehicle fleets in Europe is expected to reach approximately 29% by 2030, highlighting the ongoing shift toward sustainable mobility.
EV expertise in practice: specific charging schedules, range planning, and temperature management are becoming standard in our operational agreements—matching the EV remarketing focus of this year’s program.
Measurable quality: as the Fleet Europe community grows, so does the focus on benchmarking. That’s why we report back on key KPIs such as lead-to-load time, delivery accuracy, and CO₂ savings.
