We’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint. We strive to make our own operations more sustainable and to give our customers clear guidance on cutting emissions and offsetting what remains.
Our vision and responsibility
At TransConnect, sustainability is an ongoing commitment – not just a requirement. We’re driven by genuine purpose, clear goals and full transparency. While we follow European regulations like the CSRD, our real motivation is taking responsibility for our impact. That’s why we’ve achieved the ISO 14001 certification. ISO 14001 is the global standard for an Environmental Management System. It means we:
- Identify and manage our environmental impacts
- Meet all relevant laws and regulations
- Set clear, measurable environmental targets
- Track our performance and review progress
- Continuously improve our practices

How we help our clients in their sustainability efforts
At TransConnect, we’re committed to reducing our own environmental impact, and yours. To help you meet clear, measurable sustainability targets, we offer:
- A CO2e-estimation with every transport order.
- A total emission overview visible in the client portal.
- The Biofuel Swap option, where the biodiesel HVO100 is added to the Dutch fuel network to replace fossil fuel.
- The option to compensate in the same reforesting project as we invest in.
The option to add the Biofuel Swap or Compensation to your order is completely voluntary. We offer each option within our platform with full transparency.
Our ambitions for the coming years

Active stimulation of electric transport within our network.
Optimization of planning and routes to avoid unnecessary emission.
Awareness and training within our team.
Expansion of customer-focused sustainability options via our platform.
