TransConnect receives ISO 14001 certificate – Environmental Management System

At TransConnect, we believe that real progress begins with awareness. Every kilometer we drive, every car we move, every decision we make has an impact on the environment. That’s why we work consciously to identify and reduce that impact, by taking responsibility across our operations. Step by step, we improve our processes and refine our Environmental Management System (EMS).

We’re proud to take that awareness one step further. TransConnect now holds the ISO 14001 certificate — an internationally recognised standard for environmental management that confirms our structured and measurable approach to sustainability.

ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized ISO standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for organizations to design and implement an EMS, and continually improve the environmental performance in line with the standard’s requirements.
In practice, this means we follow best practice principles to identify environmental risks, manage them proactively, and monitor our results to ensure lasting improvement and customer trust.

Sustainability built into how we work

The ISO 14001 certificate isn’t just about compliance. It’s about how we think, plan and act.
It helps us make sustainability practical and measurable in everything we do:

  • Promoting investment in biofuel to reduce the use of fossil fuels and CO₂ emissions.
  • Managing resources responsibly across our operations and supply chain.
  • Encouraging team members to take part in responsible decision-making.
  • Improving mobility management of our employees.
  • Continuously improving how we monitor and report our environmental performanceFor us, sustainability isn’t a separate project, it’s part of everyday logistics.

The Environmental Management System in Action

Our Environmental Management System is the backbone of how we manage environmental risks and protect natural resources across our operations. Guided by the ISO management system standards, we translate environmental objectives into daily actions that drive measurable results.

Part of the EMS is the Environmental Policy, which defines accountability, commitment, and change by outlining how we measure and manage our environmental footprint and drive sustainable innovation. It ensures that we comply with environmental regulations, reduce our impact through concrete initiatives like emission reduction and compensation, and continually improve our environmental performance.

Through regular internal audits and an annual certification audit carried out by DEKRA (an accredited certification body), we verify that our environmental management practices meet the standard’s requirements. These audits help us identify new opportunities for continuous improvement, from smarter mobility management to stimulating partners and clients to make sustainable transitions.

Improvement, year after year

The ISO 14001 certification is not a destination — it’s a commitment to continuous improvement and responsible environmental management. Every stage of the certification process challenges us to rethink how we operate, measure our organization’s environmental impact, and set new environmental goals aligned with the international standard.

Our teams work together to implement improvements in our processes and maintain full regulatory compliance. Whether through upgraded reporting tools or smarter mobility management, every step we take helps us in improving environmental performance and meeting our core requirements for sustainability.

Being certified under the ISO 14001 framework gives us a real competitive advantage in the industry. It demonstrates our commitment to responsible logistics and shows our customers and stakeholders that sustainability is not an add-on, but part of our DNA.
