At TransConnect, we develop software that makes business car transport faster, easier, and smarter. Our platform provides a full cost overview across Europe within 30 seconds and allows companies to arrange transport with just one click. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (PHP) to take our backend architecture to the next level.

Your role and impact:

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be working on the backbone of our platform. You will build scalable, reliable, and future-proof systems used daily by thousands of businesses. Together with a compact, experienced team, you will ensure our technology always stays ahead of the curve. 
Concretely, this means you will: 

• Develop and optimize backend functionalities in Laravel (PHP);
• Contribute to building a future-proof architecture (API-first, event-driven, microservices);
• Develop advanced integrations with logistics systems and other external platforms;
• Work on innovative features which we love to tell you about in a conversation;
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and security;
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners

What you bring:

You are an experienced backend developer who thinks strategically, takes ownership, and always chooses quality over quantity. You are passionate about building scalable backends and enjoy working with others to create a solid technical foundation. 
Additionally, you have: 

• At least 5 years of experience as a PHP Developer;
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel;
• Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, or React (a plus);
• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset;
• The ability to actively contribute to further building our in-house development team.
